In recent years, the mental well-being of university students has become a prominent area of focus. The transition to higher education often introduces a range of stressors, including academic demands, social integration challenges, financial considerations, and the pursuit of personal identity. A significant impediment to addressing mental health concerns is the prevailing stigma associated with such issues. A dedicated club addressing these challenges can be instrumental in mitigating this stigma by cultivating an environment that encourages and normalizes open dialogue regarding mental health. Through the dissemination of accurate information and the debunking of misconceptions, the club can empower students to seek support without apprehension of judgment, thereby fostering a more empathetic and informed campus community.

With the above goals in mind, the "Compassionate Crew: A Club for Positive Mental Health, Resilience, and Well-being" was founded. The club endeavors to function as a supportive resource, advancing wellness and diminishing stigma through a peer mentoring framework. Peer mentoring offers substantial advantages to students, encompassing academic, social, and personal developmental domains.

• A workshop on “Meditation for Holistic wellness” in collaboration with Heartfulness Organization was conducted on September 25, 2025.
• A webinar on “Social Anxiety, FOMO, and Anger Management” was conducted on March 22, 2025. The resource person was Ms Kanchan, from the NGO Samrasa.
• An experiential exercise to understand effective ways of communicating with and supporting CSA (Child Sexual Abuse) survivors; and to build empathy and strengthen listening skills through interactive activities an event titled “Listening Circle” was organized on February, 25, 2025.
